Environmental Compliance and Due Diligence Capabilities

BB&E is familiar with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations, having provided compliance and due diligence services at numerous facilities nationwide.

Permitting/Management Plans

BB&E staff have prepared numerous environmental permits and management plans for our clients. Areas of expertise include preparation of Integrated Contingency Plans, storm water management plans/permits, air permit/reporting documentation, NPDES permitting, spill prevention plans, hazardous waste management plans, risk management planning, and SARA/EPCRA reporting.

Compliance Auditing

BB&E staff are experienced in conducting facility environmental compliance audits. Whether for routine facility evaluation or acquisition/divesture support, BB&E staff can conduct environmental auditing for both federal and private sector clients.

Due Diligence Services

Support of our clients due diligence requirements is a commitment of BB&E staff. Our personnel are familiar with the implementation of Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments. We can provide support of acquisition and divestiture planning, as well as assist in regulatory negotiations. BB&E staff can also provide technical assistance in the determination of required environmental funding.

Cultural/Natural Resources

BB&E offers a broad range of cultural and natural resources planning. Our staff has managed numerous projects including Phase I Archaeological Surveys, wetland delineations, Cultural Resource Management Plans, Cultural Landscape Evaluations, endangered species studies, and biological assessments. BB&E personnel have assisted in preparation of NEPA documentation and have been involved with regulatory negotiations at many sites nationwide.
